Robyn Bellinson, LCSW
Licensed Clinical Social Worker | AK Psychology Group | Mount Kisco, NY and Union
Square, NYC

Robyn Bellinson is a licensed clinical social worker with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families. Her work draws from a family systems approach — the understanding that when a child is struggling, the whole family is usually involved, and the most effective path forward works with the family as a whole rather than
treating one person in isolation.

Robyn works with parents who are overwhelmed and second-guessing themselves, with children who cannot yet put words to what they are feeling, and with teenagers navigating the pressures of school, identity, and relationships. She helps families understand what a child’s behavior is communicating, and respond in ways that actually help rather than
escalate.

Her post-master’s training includes the Ackerman Family Therapy Institute, the New York School for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy, and the Westchester Center for the Study of Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.
