A guided ketamine experience for mental health clinicians — facilitated by Leslie Cohen at AK Psychology Group
If you refer clients for ketamine-assisted therapy, or if you are thinking about it, there is nothing quite like understanding the experience from the inside.
The Ketamine Invitation is a professionally facilitated group ketamine experience designed specifically for licensed mental health clinicians. It is not a training. It is not a certification program. It is an opportunity to experience what your clients experience — the openness, the shift in perspective, the particular quality of the ketamine state — so that you can meet
them where they are when they come back to you for integration.
Clinicians who have been through the experience consistently report that it changes how they listen, how they ask questions, and how they understand what their clients are describing. It also creates a foundation of trust and genuine curiosity about the work that is difficult to build any other way.
What to Expect
Sessions are conducted in a small group setting with careful preparation beforehand and dedicated integration support afterward. Leslie Cohen, a credentialed guide with training from The Center for Medicinal Mindfulness, Polaris Insight Center, and the Ketamine Training Center, guides each session. Medical supervision is provided by Dr. Galya Lodish, MD, AK Psychology Group’s Medical Director.
Who This Is For
Licensed therapists, psychologists, social workers, and counselors who work with or are curious about psychedelic-assisted therapy. No prior psychedelic experience is required.
Integration Support
AK Psychology Group offers individual integration sessions following the program for clinicians who wish to continue processing their experience with one of our therapists. Clinicians are also welcome to refer clients directly to our integration team.
